Oozle Media announced the launch of its Refer-a-Friend App which is designed to identify, reward, and generate new “brand advocates” for businesses of all sizes and industries.
Oozle’s Refer-a-Friend App aims to create direct sales for business owners by closing key gaps in word-of-mouth marketing. This is done by providing incentives to consumers, otherwise known as “brand advocates,” that actively promote products and services to families and friends as a way to reward them for their loyalty.
“Everyday we’re bombarded with advertising campaigns, but when it comes right down to it, we trust the opinions of the people we know over random advertisers,” explained Scott Linford, Oozle Media, CEO. “Think about it: how many times have you tried a new product or service because your friend recommended it? Even the most convincing campaigns can be jaded by friends who report a bad experience. This is why word-of-mouth marketing is such an important strategy to remember.”
Studies show that brand advocates are typically internet users and extremely comfortable sharing their experiences with products and services to their friends and family through social media. Oozle’s Refer-a-Friend App capitalizes on such behaviors by streamlining the referral process through a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email and more.
The App features both monthly and year-end prizes which are awarded by a point system. Points accumulate with each referral and then increase as appointments are made and then kept, and/or products are reviewed and then purchased.
New customers are automatically encouraged to create their own profile within the App in order to be rewarded for their business. Once an App Member, they’re instantly made aware of the ongoing prize opportunities, thus motivating them to actively seek referrals, which in turn creates brand advocates from the get-go.
The App’s unique features include:
