uGenius Technology, a firm providing comprehensive multi-channel video banking solutions to financial institutions, announced that Naugatuck Savings Bank, an independent community bank, is the first bank in Connecticut to deploy uGenius Personal Teller Machines (PTMs), powered by the uGenius Video Banking System. Naugatuck Savings Bank, which operates 19 branches throughout Connecticut’s Greater Naugatuck Valley and Central Connecticut, deployed two PTMs at its newly constructed Wallingford branch to enhance the experience of its customers.
Recently opened on December 8, Naugatuck Savings Bank’s Wallingford branch is able to increase access to services by more than 27 hours a week, including extended hours on Saturday, along with before and after typical bank hours on weekdays. uGenius’ Video Banking technology increases operational efficiency and productivity by giving bank customers the ability to interact with a live teller through two-way video. Bank customers may conduct typical transactions through personal tellers including making deposits and payments, transferring money, cashing checks, and more.
