NAI West, a commercial real estate brokerage, recently facilitated the lease of a new manufacturing and distribution center for Connor Sport Court International. The 162,000-square-foot-facility is located in the Salt Lake International Center at 5445 West Harold Gatty Drive.
NAI WEST Senior Associate Andy Wheeler, and CCIM and Senior Vice President Jim Sheldon represented Connor Sport Court in the transaction. NAI WEST Executive Vice President Kyle Roberts, CCIM, SIOR and Executive Real Estate Agent Kneel Robinson, CCIM represented the landlord.
Speaking of the transaction, Wheeler said “This location is ideal for Connor Sport Court. It will allow them space to grow and expand as their needs require, and provide an optimal long term real estate solution for the company.”
Connor Sport Court’s current distribution center, a 70,000-square-foot-warehouse in Salt Lake City, will be marketed for sublease by Wheeler and Sheldon.
Connor Sport Court International produces sports surfacing for a number of elite organizations, including the NBA, NCAA, FIBA, USATF, and USA Volleyball. The new Salt Lake based facility will manufacture and distribute synthetic court flooring, while an ISO certified lumber mill in Amasa, Michigan produces wood flooring product.
