West Jordan – Mountain America Credit Union was recently ranked third in the Power 100 Social Media Rankings for Credit Unions for the second quarter of 2013. The rankings, which are generated by The Financial Brand, evaluate credit unions’ social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
According to the report, credit unions have the most social traction on Facebook, which is also the case for Mountain America with just over 93,000 likes. This puts Mountain America only behind Navy Federal Credit Union and Thrivent in the number of Facebook likes.
“This is great recognition for Mountain America,” said Sharon Cook, senior vice president of marketing and public relations for Mountain America. “We use our social media channels to communicate timely information about our products and services to our members and followers.”
