The Intermountain Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) recently recognized 22 different projects across the state for Excellence in Concrete. Jack B. Parson Companies (JBP) was recognized as the concrete supplier for seven of the winning projects, including Jury’s Choice for the structure and paving of the Natural History Museum of Utah at the Rio Tinto Center.
JBP also received awards for the following projects ranging from commercial and public works to residential and educational structures:
“We are honored to receive these awards,” said Bob Rowberry, JBP president. “We strive to be our customer’s Preferred Source no matter what project we are supplying. I would like to thank the great general contractors with whom we worked on these projects: Big-D Construction, Jacobsen Construction, Bowen Construction and Hughes General Contractors.”
The ACI is an international organization that established the Excellence in Concrete awards to recognize the outstanding innovative and aesthetic uses of concrete. Projects are judged by an independent panel picked from leaders in the construction, engineering, architectural and academia communities.
