International Armoring Corporation “Manufacturer of The Year”

Press Release

September 12, 2012

International Armoring Corporation (IAC) has been named the International “Manufacturer of the Year” by an independent judging panel representing “The International Business Awards.” Only one manufacturing company was given this top honor worldwide. Known as the business world’s equivalent to the Oscar Awards, IAC will receive a gold encrusted trophy.

The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. Nicknamed the Stevie for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented to IAC at a gala dinner on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Seoul, South Korea. This is the 10th year The International Business Awards has been honoring top companies around the world. IAC has been recognized twice previous - “Best International business / North America” and “Best Satellite Facility (for Spain plant.)” This is the first all encompassing (General category –“Manufacturing”) international gold award for IAC.

Companies from all over the world were evaluated for The International Business Awards – “Manufacturer of the Year” (i.e. “The Stevie Award.”) Some of the nominated companies included Fiat Chrysler, GM, Mitsubishi, BMW, Tata Motors, etc. IAC was the only company from Utah to receive an international gold Stevie Award. Mark F. Burton, president /CEO of International Armoring Corporation said, “This is a tremendous honor for the entire IAC team. We have worked very hard to be recognized as a viable international company – this is good validation for such hard work. We are definitely in some very elite company.”

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected International Stevie winners from among the Finalists, which were determined by judges around the world during two months of preliminary judging. Michael Gallagher, director of The Stevie Awards, presenters of the IBAs said, “We congratulate all of International Stevie Awards winners and we look forward to honoring them for their achievements at our gala awards dinner in Seoul on October 15.”
