Interide Logistics, a Utah-based third-party logistics company, announced the creation of a post-secondary, state licensed freight broker school. The vision of the school’s creators is to meet an exploding market demand for trained logistics professionals, while it addresses the nationwide challenge to create new career opportunities for ambitious, qualified persons.
In logistics–unlike other areas of transportation–people are the assets. Interide Logistics believes it has the resources and track record to attract students who have the capacity and potential to be successful in their respective niches.
The Interide Logistics Freight Broker School (ILFBS) prepares students to enter the transportation industry, either to work for a shipper, or to become an independent freight broker or third party logistics (3PL) owner. Through an intense, one-week course, qualified students will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to work for, operate, or own a logistics company. Those students who already work in manufacturing or distribution will learn the skills necessary to help reduce their companies’ transportation spend.
“We’ve improved upon the education and training currently provided to our employees and in-house freight brokers,” said Sean Snow, president of Interide. “That training has made Interide one of the most successful asset-based 3PLs in the country. We stand apart from most other schools in that we are a company that continues to be successful at what we teach.”
Located at the heart of a key transportation corridor west of Salt Lake City, the Interide Logistics Freight Broker School will be housed within the company’s 12,000 square foot headquarters facility at 2890 West 2100 South. The training facility has been designed with the student in mind, and the faculty is comprised of leaders from all areas of the transportation industry.
For more information about the school please call 855-428-1164 or visit www.interidefreightbrokerschool.com.
