EMI Health Stands Out in Statewide Health Plan Satisfaction Survey

EMI Health is a top-ranked PPO in the state of Utah, according to the results of the Consumer Assessment of Health Plans Survey (CAHPS), released as part of the Utah Department of Health’s 2011 Health Plan Satisfaction Report.

Conducted by DataStat Inc., an independent survey firm that examines all major health plans in Utah, the CAHPS survey measures member attitudes about the health care and services they received from their health plan during 2011.

According to the results, EMI Health respondents gave the company high marks in three main categories: satisfaction with the health plan, satisfaction with the health care received and satisfaction with doctors available through the health plan. The results of this independent survey are very similar to the high levels of satisfaction EMI Health finds in its own annual member survey.

“The results confirm something we’ve prided ourselves on for years: delivering top-notch service and medical networks to our members, without sacrificing value or charging outrageous rates,” said Steve Morrison, CEO, EMI Health. “Of course, it is wonderful to have a third-party confirm this, and we will continue to meet and exceed our members’ expectations wherever possible.”
