Cornerstone Title Acquires HUD Contract

Locally-owned Cornerstone Title announced that it has acquired the contract to handle closings on behalf of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Utah, effective immediately.

This contract will allow Cornerstone Title to support HUD’s mission which is: “To create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. HUD is working to strengthen the housing market to bolster the economy and protect consumers; meet the need for quality affordable rental homes: utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life; build inclusive and sustainable communities free from discrimination; and transform the way HUD does business”.

Cornerstone has six statewide offices and a team of veteran managers, escrow officers and attorneys. Clients range from small local banks to large commercial brokerages. Cornerstone closes traditional loans as well as partners with parties to help navigate complex REO properties or bulk transactions.
