CBRE has been selected as the exclusive listing broker for about 156 acres of vacant land at Daybreak Commerce Park. The CBRE industrial team of Rad Dye, Tom Dischmann and Jeff Richards will manage the listing.
Located in the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley within the Daybreak community, Daybreak Commerce Park is a business development by the land division of Kennecott Utah Copper. The park totals 225 acres and offers five million square feet of entitlement for commercial use. Rio Tinto and eBay both have projects within the Park, and there are about 156 acres of vacant land remaining available for sale.
“Daybreak Commerce Park offers an ideal opportunity for businesses looking to expand in a developing, high-growth area," said Tom Dischmann, senior vice president of CBRE. “The Park’s proximity to a highly educated residential community offers businesses a chance to build in a location where a significant employee base resides, a huge plus for employees concerned with a healthy work-life balance.”
The Daybreak community is a master-planned, mixed-use development which has been nationally recognized by the National Association of Home Builders for its focus on
sustainability and commitment to smart growth. All homes are built to EPA Energy Star guidelines, and the location offers direct access to TRAX train stations and the new Mountain View Corridor freeway. It also boasts one of the highest concentrations of LEED certified buildings within a single project area.
