CBRE Group Inc. (NYSE:CBG) has been named to the FORTUNE 500 list of the largest U.S.-based companies for the fifth straight year. CBRE remains the only commercial real estate services firm ever included in the FORTUNE 500.
“Our success is built on a foundation of insight, collaboration, global resources and best-in-class client service,” said Mark Bouchard, senior managing director of CBRE in Salt Lake City. “Our position as the only commercial real estate services provider in the FORTUNE 500 further underscores the confidence clients in Salt Lake City have in our people, platform and consistent delivery of exceptional results around the world.”
The FORTUNE 500 ranks U.S.-based companies by total revenue. CBRE was ranked at #416 on the list, up 24 places from the prior year.
Earlier this year, CBRE led National Real Estate Investor’s Top Brokerage list for the ninth year in a row. For the second straight year CBRE also was the highest ranked real estate services firm on Fortune's list of the Most Admired Companies.
In 2011, CBRE arranged global sales and leasing transactions with total value of $159 billion and managed commercial properties and corporate facilities totaling more than 3.2 billion sq. ft., including properties managed by affiliate companies.
Bouchard added: “Salt Lake City continues to outperform base economic trends compared to the broader U.S. market and therefore continues to garner strong interest on behalf of corporate site selectors.”
