Reap the Rewards of Increased R&D Tax Incentives

MK Mortensen, Joe Stoddard

November 1, 2011

Seize the Opportunity

Whether or not your company has taken R&D credits in the past, now is the time to reevaluate your situation and ensure you are making the most of the potential credits available. Recent changes in the credit rules can significantly reduce the cost of innovation for your company.

MK Mortensen is the Tax Issues Committee Chair for the UACPA. He has over a decade of experience in taxation with an emphasis in corporate tax and flow-through entities. He is a partner with Grant Thornton and Company.

Joe Stoddard has been a member of UACPA for five years. He is a Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office and the Technical Leader for Grant Thornton’s R&D tax credit services. Stoddard is a CPA licensed in Oregon and Utah and a member of the AICPA and UACPA.
