Salt Lake City — Minor League Baseball has announced that the Salt Lake Bees ranked in the top 25 in 2012 licensed merchandise sales. The program is comprised of 160 clubs in the domestic-based leagues, and rankings are based on wholesale sales reported from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2012.
Fanzz, the official team store of the Salt Lake Bees, operates as the top-selling Bees brand provider with merchandise available at the Spring Mobile Ballpark store, select Salt Lake City locations and online at fanzz.com.
In addition, MiLB announced that its national licensing program generated an estimated 54 million dollars in sales of licensed merchandise in 2012, the third largest overall figure since the program began in 1991. The figure also represents a 3.3 percent increase from 2011.
