OK3 AIR Plans Upgrades at the Heber City Municipal Airport
Heber City – The full-service, fixed-base operator OK3 AIR, has plans for multiple upgrades at the HEBER CITY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (36U) to further accommodate general aviation needs.
The airport’s latest upgrades include updates to the airport approach and weather forecasting systems, a state-of-the-art de-icing truck and a 10,000-square-foot hangar.
The night limitation to the GPS approach to 36U has been removed, and category C minimums have been added—both very significant improvements to the existing approach. Weather forecasting is also now available, as well as around-the-clock webcams at www.ok3air.com, which provide a real-time view of the airport’s weather and activity.
OK3 AIR also acquired a GS-700 de-icing truck, providing both de-icing (Type 1) and anti-icing (Type 4) capabilities. There are no airframe limitations, and services are available on request 24-hours a day.
Additionally, OK3 AIR recently purchased a 10,000-square-foot hangar, bringing the total available hangar rental space to 35,000 square feet. OK3 AIR can accommodate aircraft up to Gulfstream IV size.
“We are excited to bring these new upgrades to visitors of the Heber City Municipal Airport,” says Nadim Abuhaidar, owner of OK3 AIR. “As we continue to build upon what our airport has to offer, safety, customer service and the overall quality of the experience will continue to be our top priorities.”
