Park City - The U.S. SKI AND SNOWBOARD ASSOCIATION named 60 different brands as suppliers to the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. The broad cross section of brands represent the leading companies in the skiing and snowboarding industry, which provide equipment and services to national team athletes and teams.

Sanpete County - SANPETE COUNTY received a grant of $500,000 from the National Resources Conservation Services and expected to receive up to an additional $350,000. The funds will be used for repair and prevention of flood damage.
St. George - UTAH YAMAS CONTROLS secured a new office and warehouse location for its Southern Utah branch in St. George. In 2007, the company expanded its presence with an office on Deseret Drive. Utah Yamas has seen continued growth and increased its Southern Utah staff.
St. George - SORENSON COMMUNICATIONS opened a CaptionCall center to receive and relay telephone calls for the hard-of-hearing community. To fill the center, Sorenson Communications hired more than 200 employees.
