Creating value. HR is a fascinating combination of people and business. The data we gather and the systems and projects we invest in are all part of a cycle to create value for the employees and, in turn, value for the business. 

What is one piece of advice you could offer employers about talent acquisition and retention?

Look for alignment and those that will add to your culture while setting realistic expectations for candidates. Be transparent and strive to give as much as you take in the recruiting process. Details, information and background information should flow in both directions. If the reality doesn’t match their experience, then it doesn’t matter how fantastic the candidate is; you lose trust, engagement and, potentially, the employee. To Main Page
